An overnight rain has offered a modicum of relief, so it looks like Brooklyn won’t be headed “back into the jungle” today. But given July is never kind here and it pales in comparison to what its big brother August brings in terms of oppressive heat, I’ll enjoy this brief break whilst it lasts.
