In March 1944, US pilot A T Miller spent a month at the Ennejma Ezzahra Palace in #Tunisia, one of the 60 airmen who had been interned by the Soviets, but allowed to escape. A military secret until 1986, #militaryhistorian Otis Hays published their story in 1990. Extraordinary.
