Black and white photo of a sculpture, possibly a bronze version of Rodin's The Shade (1880), which stands at the very top of a long white marble staircase. It's inside the fantastic Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek museum in Copenhagen, Denmark. The museum has a vast collection of Rodin, and this looks to be his style. Like "The Shade," it features a man in 3/4 or side perspective, stooped and hunched over on one side, his head down and looking dejected, as he takes a step forward. The photo is taken looking upwards at the statue and from the bottom of the white stairs in the pale-white/beige coloured entryway, so that everything looks pale in the photo except for the statue and 2 closed doors on the right of the white staircase's white steps.
What it feels like to be a liberal in Trump's America as he takes a hammer to every law, institution, ally, alliance, sense of decency, & moral or democratic principle, both inside & outside the US.
