Tree swallow pics seem to be the big thing this time of year- if I had a better camera this one posing at Lake Byllesby would’ve been envious

Caught this little contractor mid-reno. 🛠️
He gave me the side-eye, flung a few wood chips for effect, then got back to business.

Think this is my first fully sighted rarity! yellow-headed blackbird at the Minnesota River wildlife refuge- didn’t even show up as an option on Merlin.
