The Lustau definitely has the same signature (to me) as the Yellow Spot whiskey I tried a few weeks ago. Makes sense both being produced by Middleton Distillery. That dusty/dusky note helped shade this one for me.

(1/2) Both of these are really well rounded whiskies. The Grande’s sherry influence is more obvious with notes figs and fruit salad. Yellow Spot has honey, chocolate, banana and a dusky note I love in my whiskey.
