Walked through Seattle’s #MoPop today with @dlczar.bsky.social today and was struck by the Black music exhibit. We should learn from and draw inspiration from the Civil Rights movement and the pioneers of Black liberation and music today as we fight fascism in the US.
The LeMarchand Configuration puzzle box from the Hellraiser horror film series, a dark cube with ornate gold engravings, displayed partially opened with half of the interlocking sections of the box pulled away from the other half.

The head of the adult alien xenomorph from the Alien sci-fi horror series. It has an elongated skull, transparent on the top with no eyes, the rest black with lots of tubes, and wicked looking toothy jaw open to reveal the inner toothed tongue.
Still one of the best movie monsters ever. As seen at Seattle's Museum of Pop Culture (MOPOP)'s horror exhibit.
