Chatting with a friend who lives in NY and they mentioned the #MoCCA Arts Fest happening next weekend (March 28-29). It's apparently one of the largest independent comic and cartoon festivals nationwide. Sounds neat! Any Furs going/dealing?

So at #moccafest I did some commissions.
Had I done commissions before? No.
But did I think through how they would work? No.
But did I have plenty of downtime between selling and chatting to draw? No.
But was it all a scheme to get pictures of cute pets? Initially no, but by the end definitely.

@meghunt.bsky.social put it perfectly: to a person, everyone was a delight, excited to talk about art and animals, and patient as I lost my grip on basic math over 14 hours of tabling.
