We're out with #CitizenScientists on the #RiverChess today, carrying out our first post-restoration #ModularRiverSurvey work at Latimer.

Following a tour from Rivers Officer Adrian, we've already been treated to some superb woodland landscapes and wildlife.

Huge thanks go out to the 7 individuals that braved cold fingers & toes to join our Citizen Science Co-ordinator, Hannah, today to record data on ecological habitats using the #ModularRiverSurvey method in the lower #RiverChess.

Looking forward to returning in the spring!

In 2022, we trained #CitizenScientists to use the #ModularRiverSurvey to measure the success of #restoration efforts through a detailed habitat quality method.
