So it seems that Nevada has a serious issue with too many #MormonCrickets 😳 I counted over 100 hanging out by a picnic table!

Just a shot of the old road going up the hill to the wheat field, largely grown over with the weeds and such that grown in this high desert environment. lots of blue sky above, and if you look close, the lupines blooming here and there.

Lupines are in bloom up the hill. Cuz of rotten old pneumonia I've not been up this trail in a month, but I was rewarded for my effort with the landscape. If the lupines are in bloom that also means the Mormon crickets are out, singin their crappy song of destruction #lupines #hiking #MormonCrickets
