Europe with an 8-3 lead heading into day three of the Mosconi (first to 11) and nice to see an even split of wins and losses today after yesterday's mauling. But for a couple of balls this could've been even closer as a scoreline.

Thorpe for the Americans and Alcaide for the Europeans really have the right "let's have fun" attitude for this Mosconi tournament. Great to see the US get another point on the board and delay the inevitable.

Mosconi commentators frequently having to apologise for bad language. I mean, what do you expect when you mic up a bunch of men playing team sports and listen in?

America cannot catch a break in the Mosconi this year. I feel so bad for their team but it seems like they're overthinking everything and trying too hard not to lose when they should be playing their natural game and trying to win.
