Thoughts?
The primary benefit to riding a motorcycle is the smugly superior coolness that it bestows upon you, but calculating your MPG is a close second.

Shiny red Moto Morini 350 Sport, very red, very swift. Ate ignition transducers.
Silver Yamaha TR1 (XV1000), my first litre bike, a pleasure to ride. Until someone u-turned across me and damaged the bike and me. I wrote his car off...
My first GPz900R in two-tone blue and silver, only lasted 2 months before it was stolen. Beautiful bike, so very capable and fast.
The TR1 after the accident, forks straightened, Jota bars and handlebar fairing in place of the destroyed single headlamp. Wife on board (girlfriend as she was then) on the way back from our first trip to France, Switzerland and Italy.
A few more bikes I used to own. late 80s, early 90s
