Mount Royal Cemetery, where Victorian Montreal once came to stroll among the dead, not in fear but in reflection.
On Halloween, this quiet hill reminds us that remembrance was once a celebration, not of ghosts, but of life itself. #MountRoyalCemetery #Montreal

Climbing up over Mount Royal from @CBD_COP15, the streams are frozen until you get to the steaming stream on the north slope at the wondrous bird feeding station at 1297 Foret Rd, #MountRoyalCemetery. Marvellous views over the St Lawrence River from up there.

Time for a breather from @CBD_COP15 hurly burly? Head up to 1297 Foret Rd, #MountRoyalCemetery & witness spectacular gathering of American Robins drinking at stream. Lower left is a ♀️ & the brighter bird on right is a ♂️. #mtroyalmoment #mtroyal #mtlmoments #BirdsSeenIn2022 6/10
American Goldfinch & Pine Siskin (in the Sumac tree) are also common at #MountRoyalCemetery but only saw the 1 Common Redpoll drinking at the stream. Plenty of lovely Slate-coloured Juncos on the ground.
