A warrior-prisoner sits with two dogs. He wears a prairie wolf headpiece and rope in place of gold. Stripped, waiting to be beheaded. In ancient Mesoamerica, dogs guided the dead—like #Anubis in Egypt. This is loyalty, grief, and fate carved in clay.
