Not much to the Ophir checkpoint. There is a cabin that is owned by a family who flies in with supplies each year and hosts for the Iditarod (per Deke Naaktgeboren on a Mushing podcast yesterday). It is his preferred place to 24 as it's very quiet and the hosts are awesome. #Iditarod54 #MushingSky
