I could see an unsuspecting consumer disappointed by this LP which promises "Original Themes! Original Artists! Original Stars!" That's only half true. Yes, those are often the case here but they are not necessarily the same tracks used for the TV shows. That doesn't make it less interesting. We get to hear Desi Arnaz singing the words to the "I Love Lucy" as does Andy Griffith for his show. Star Trek is an elongated stretch on the second version of the TV theme (with the heavenly choral siren vocalizing). For 2bux at the thrift in pristine shape, I'm happy to add this to the collection, a complement to the classic Television's Greatest Hits compilation issued, perhaps not coincidentally, in the same year of 1985.
