Now up to my modern era of tiny plastic (or resin) men. The beautiful golden boys and girls of the Adeptus Custodes!

These are the last Aeldari models I finished, though I still have some in the pile of shame. Was really worried about my ability to make the Avatar look "molten" but I'm happy with how it turned out.

I suppose I'll never know why GW made the (newer) War Walker the way they did instead of going with the vastly superior design of the Wasp Assault Walker. And shadow Spectres should still be a legit aspect. Also titan.
#MyWarhammer #Aeldari
Still blown away by how well old sculpts like the grav-tank hull hold up, how awesome the new sculpts are, and how dogshit finecast is :(
#MyWarhammer #Aeldari
I like to think I've gotten quite good at magnetizing my models but those Wraithknight arms were a challenge. Jet bikes were easy-peezy lemon-squeezy.
#MyWarhammer #Aeldari
Look at me failing almost immediately to post regularly...
Let's try this again.
Alright, got my SoH recipe locked in for the Dallas Open!
Now I've got 39 days left to do about 50 more dudes, 5 tanks, 2 dreads, and a Primarch...

Wraith constructs are my favourite. It KILLS ME that so many incredible Aeldari Forge World models (many of which I have) have gone to legends. RIP.
:(

Eldar were my first army, about 23 years ago. They hold a nostalgic place in my heart and that part loves that some of the old sculpts have held up, but the new minis? Absolutely incredible!
#MyWarhammer #Ulthwe
Enter the Aeldari era! (~2 years ago)
#MyWarhammer #Aeldari
The last of the GSC I've done up. Penal workers (the old Catachan minis look weird enough I didn't bother with Brood Brother upgrade sprues for them lol) and a couple heavy weapon teams.
#MyWarhammer
A friend gave me a bag of old bitz, I got creative with it. A Tau Fire Warrior crash landed on a backwater Imperial world, scraping together what he can to survive. He even made a friend!

A Carnifex miniature in front of a piece of graffiti'd terrain.
A squad of Purestrain Genestealer miniatures.
A Tyranid Haruspex miniature.
A Tyranid Exocrine miniature.
The Cult was also joined by some fun... Let's call them "Livestock", if the Inquisition ever asks...
Carnifex and Haruspex/Exocrine are fully magnetized as well.
#MyWarhammer
A Leman Russ battle tank miniature. The name "Loyal Son" is written on the turret.
The whole theme of my GSC was an overrun prison/mining outpost with a small Guard garrison. Not a prime target for 'Nid invasion, a Genestealer just got stranded there and made do.
#MyWarhammer
Started up GSC because it felt so different to Ad-Mech. I was also free to go a bit more loosey-goosey with the paint scheme. They weren't a terribly serious project, just something fun and silly. I gave every model a name, painted under the base. #MyWarhammer
This is from June 2020. The time of the Machine is over. The age of the Genestealer Cult has begun... #MyWarhammer #Warhammer
The last 2 Ad-Mech kits: Electro-priests and Armiger Warglaives. I figure one day I'll get back to this army. They have so many other cool units, even if the army itself isn't currently very good. #MyWarhammer #Warhammer
Getting close to the end of the Ad-Mech phase. I magnetized the Dunerider, quite proud of that one. And a pair of Dragoons (don't know why the pic is cropped like that). Actually got one dragoon for my birthday which had a small defect and GW customer care sent me a whole second kit! #MyWarhammer
An Adeptus Mechanicus Kastelan Robot miniature.
An objective marker resembling a toaster, flanked by two Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarii Rangers miniatures.
3 Adeptus Mechanicus Kataphron Servitors miniatures.
An Adeptus Mechanicus Cybernetica Datasmith miniature.
I recall this being one of my most productive painting eras. Kastelan Robots with Datasmith, Kataphron Servitors, and a cheeky custom toaster objective marker I made from putty.
#MyWarhammer
An Assault Cannon Terminator miniature from the ANGRY MARINES chapter.
That assault cannon fires chopped off middle fingers. No idea WHERE they got them all...
Checkerboard!!!
...The chainfist is definitely HOW he got all those middle fingers.
At this point I found an old white metal Terminator and painted him into just the most pissed-off guy. ALWAYS ANGRY ALL THE TIME!
#MyWarhammer #Warhammer
This is my slightly kitbashed Eversor Assassin. I figured the robo-arm themed him to my army but also made sense, how else would he use the sword without holstering the pistol? #MyWarhammer
A small Warhammer 40000 miniatures Adeptus Mechanicus army.
This was my progress 6 months in. (Feb-Jul, 2017)
Not much by some standards but between my then 5 year old son and work, hobby time was at a premium. #MyWarhammer
An Adeptus Mechanicus Techpriest Dominus miniature.
An Aeldari Wraithblade miniature.
An Adeptus Custodes Shield Captain miniature.
A Skaven Clanrat miniature.
Just here chronicling my mini painting journey...
Probably going to be some shit posting too.
#WarhammerCommunity #MyWarhammer
An Imperial Knight Warden miniature, painted red and white, with yellow hazard stripes on the left leg.
"What!? You mean I can use that huge-ass robot!?" It was expensive but I NEEDED one. I magnetized as many bits as I could #MyWarhammer
Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarii Rangers miniatures
Adeptus Mechanicus Sicarian Infiltrator Princeps miniature
Next up was basic Ad-Mech troops and Sicarians. Not the best painting but vast improvement from 12yo me glopping half-dried paint onto Eldar Guardians #MyWarhammer
