Not even 39.5 episodes prepared me to the ending of #MysteriousLotusCasebook, that 5 minutes extra episode wasn't hopeful either.
Aaand the drama was merciful compared to the novel (i just looked it up). 😭
I definitely overwatched #MysteriousLotusCasebook because Li Lianhua just popped up in my dream this night😅
Unfortunately I'm in the last ten of the eps. This story could go on for months with solving cases. The structure is very similar to shounen anime: getting into a team and going on missions.

It's the first time I watch Cheng Yi, I really love his dialect/tone. It's very distinct how others speak Mandarin, especially in a historical drama.
The cases are interesting but impossible to figure out by yourself.
Yep. It wasn't initially on my radar but once I started watching I was hooked. Love that Foxy Tang! Then I discovered this drama is based on a novel by the same writer who did #MysteriousLotusCasebook and it made sense cuz I love that drama too. I like my boys cheeky and ambiguous, I guess. 😘
iQIYI is marathoning #MysteriousLotusCasebook on their YouTube account. I saw it, when it started in the middle of the night & yes I have already seen this drama, and yes I have a metric shit ton of dramas that need to be watched, but yes I'm still gonna veg out and watch Cheng Yi and Xiao ShunYao

Day 10: Did you rewatch dramas in 2025?
After the news of #ItagakiMizuki passing I did a rewatch of #ShanaiMarriageHoney. I adore that drama so it felt like a fitting way to mourn him. I'm also currently rewatching #MysteriousLotusCasebook with my Discord mutuals.
