Special recognition is given to the Arab American community in southwest Cook County, Illinois—including one of the largest Palestinian communities in the U.S.—and to the Arab-American Business Professional Association, which supports over 200 businesses in the area known as “Little Palestine.” The resolution is to be permanently recorded in the District’s official proceedings.
