*Ticket news for 2026!* The venue have confirmed the date so we need to get the ball rolling with tickets! *May 2nd and 3rd 2026, East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham* As with last year we will be releasing a *ticket application google form* on the web page for you to register interest in joining us for the event. *The form will go live on Monday August 25th at 7pm (British Summer time / UTC +1)* Then from Tuesday August 26th you'll be contacted with payment details for the tickets if you've been successful with the application - or if you're on the reserve list. This year: Tickets: Due to increased venue costs tickets will be £70 Payment will need to be made within 2 weeks of receiving email confirmation that you have a place (September 9th). Number of places: This year we will have 320 spaces available. Accommodation: Discounted accommodation will be released by the venue after we've paid for the venue. So likely mid to late September. Rules: Finalised rules to follow, but we'll be looking to repeat something very close to this year's event, with a few tweaks. The ELO stats say we should be placing around 5th - which I think would be a decent weekend's work.
I've got the Dark Elves again - an identical roster to #nafc - and that went OK I guess...

3-2-1 was my best ever NAFC, first time I've ever won more than 2 games!
Finished 67th overall, from 290-odd. Very pleased with that!

So #nafc is done for 2025. I finished on 3-3-0, which is a stellar result for me.
Played some cool people and had some great banter with the Scottish contingent.

3rd Dark Elf mirror match of the day.
Final game of the day. ANOTHER Dark Elf mirror at #nafc. The #bloodbowl gods smile on me: 1-0 win.
I stalled his drive after he took on a vanity surf and skulled twice.
My drive: I was up players and dragged the ball up the pitch - even surviving a 1D wrestle cage dive. Stopped the reply for 1-0.

Round 5 of #NAFC vs Grumpyboyle's orcs. A tricky first half where I managed to sack the ball but couldn't recover. He then killed my witch elf, got the ball back and scored later on. Managed to drive down to equalise on T16 and his TTM attempt failed. 1-1 and 2-2-1 for the day now. #bloodbowl

I just need 1 more win (or 2 draws) to fulfil my aim of 50% for the tournament. No losses would be a great result, too.

Empty NFC pitch.
#nafc game 3 vs some dirty rats.
Got a Blitz turn 1 and upset the opponent's whole plan. Managed to stall it out for 1-0 HT lead.
Lost a few guys in 2nd half, so couldn't break through. Got a bit hairy, but held out for 1-0.

Dark Elves vs Khorne round 2 at NAFC
Tough game vs Khorne in #nafc round 2.
I stalled his drive with a 1D pow without losing too many guys.
My drive: went up and scored in turn 7. But Khorne bestows some outrageous agility upon his #bloodbowl minions and an elf-like passing/handoff/dodge/gfi combo ties the score 1-1 at the death.

Game 2 was against MrBattenberg and his union.
He kicked deep and I did not do enough to protect the ball. Luckily I survived the surge of elves and scuttled off to safety.
After that the game ran on standard 2-1 grind rails and I was happy to get the win.

We battered each other but he had the edge and I couldn't score but he was able to stumble over the line on turn 16.

Game 1 of the #NAFC weekend started with a game against Lizards which unfortunately ended in a 2-1 loss. Many failed dodges and a failed rush by Akhorne the squirrel meant we didn't quite get the draw
