NGC 4395 Galaxy - telescope processed image. This low-surface-brightness spiral galaxy surprisingly hosts one of the smallest known "supermassive" black holes, weighing only about 10,000 to 400,000 Suns.

NGC 4395 Galaxy - unprocessed image. It is a prime example of a Magellanic spiral, lacking a central bulge and appearing incredibly faint and "wispy" compared to galaxies like our own.

The image shows a low surface brightness galaxy, with spiral arms and slightly brighter nucleus, amidst foreground stars of our milky way. In the background, many more, fainter galaxies can be seen.

NGC 4395

NGC 4395 is approximately 14 million light years from us. A unique Seyfert type galaxy in that it does not center bulge and is considered a dwarf galaxy. One of the least luminous but nearest of the Seyfert galaxies. 120 3 minute exposures on a Svbony 80ed and ASI533MC. #astrophotography #ngc4395
