1974. 1992. 2018. 2020.
Blue waves swept the country and New Hampshire still elected a Republican governor.
The same old playbook won’t work in 2026. It’s time for a Community First candidate.

New Hampshire can’t house homeless veterans. Can’t house homeless elderly. Can’t house kids aging out of foster care.
But the US has billions for detention facilities?
Who does this government actually serve?
#NHGov #CommunityFirst
Haven’t been paying much attention to this ICE detention center story in New Hampshire that #Maddow is discussing.
But GOP Gov. Kelly Ayotte has generally been viewed as tough to beat in this year’s #NHGov election.
That status could change quickly with this story.

If Lewandowski were to run in and win a #NHGov GOP primary - crazier things have happened in MAGAland - it would instantly become a flippable Governor’s office for Democrats.
Corey Lewandowski is considering a GOP primary challenge to Kelly Ayotte for #NHGov because she won’t redistrict her state on Trump’s behalf.
Democrats currently have no major contenders for this office, and they need one NOW in case this primary actually happens.

Trump is threatening primary challenges to GOPers who don’t redistrict on his behalf, including #NHGov Kelly Ayotte.
Ayotte is generally popular and is expected to win re-election next year…but if she loses a primary to a MAGA opponent, that changes everything.

On @wmur9.bsky.social's CloseUp this weekend, #NHGov Kelly Ayotte touted the recently enacted cellphone ban, emphasizing the positive impact it's already having on student focus, learning, and socialization. Watch the full interview: www.wmur.com/article/gove... #NHPolitics #NHEducators
#NVGov Joe Lombardo and #NHGov Kelly Ayotte have done nothing to stand up to Trump.
If given another term, they've both made clear they have no intentions of suddenly growing a spine. www.nationaljournal.com/s/729497/tru...
Don't look now but first term GOP #NHGov Kelly Ayotte is eminently defeatable.
NH has it in its political head that first term incumbents who aren't mired in scandal/crime get reelected without a hitch because it's only a 2 yr term. Time to throw out that thinking.

Let's elect a #NHGov who won't tolerate this thuggery.
(footnote: attentive followers will remember that I did endorse Cinde Warmington for #NHGOV in the previous primary cycle. I did that before I found out that the rule about neutrality applied all the way down to the town chair level, and then limited my involvement after learning that.)
The New Hampshire House’s slash and burn MAGA state budget is as useful as a screen door on a submarine. It threatens public health, education, quality of life, and defies common sense. #NHPolitics #NHLeg #NHGov

All you have to do is look at what has happened in other states which have gone this route. It's 'death by a thousand cuts' for public schools. Cartoonists in 4 different states tell the story quite eloquently. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Why do Republicans hate public schools so much?

Gov Ayotte just announced $1 million in grants to school districts for solutions to address cell phones in schools and underscored success of programs like Stevens High in Claremont to manages distractions and reduces cyber bullying w/out making teachers be the cell phone police. #NHPolitics #NHGov

ABC News is projecting that Kelly Ayotte (R) has won #NHgov. She currently leads Joyce Craig (D) 53-46% with 50% reporting.
Republican Kelly Ayotte leads 50-48 in #NHGOV with estimated 36% in ... as Harris leads 54-45 in the state.
I've seen enough: Dixville, NH ties 3-3 for Harris/Trump, a massive swing right from Biden's 5-0 margin over Trump in 2020. But voters are also eager to split their tickets: Kelly Ayotte (R) carries Dixville 5-1 for #NHGOV, and Maggie Goodlander (D) takes it 4-2 for #NH02.

In our new Morning Digest: The general election for governor of New Hampshire is underway, and a blue year could turn the current GOP-controlled state government into a Democratic trifecta #NHGOV
In a quarter century of involvement with elections in NH, I have never seen a D gubernatorial candidate ignore the less voter-rich areas of the state more than Joyce Craig, who became the #NHGov nominee last night.
Not good. NH has a chance to elect a D gov this fall. She really needs to show up.
Congratulations to tonight's primary winners:

Trump supporting Kelly Ayotte won her #NHGov primary.
How she'll talk about FPOTUS from now until the evening of the general election.
On the Dem side, #NHgov is quite close! Former Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig has 45%, former Executive Councilor Cinde Warmington has 44%. That's with 28% of the estimated vote counted.
The AP has called the #NHgov GOP primary for Kelly Ayotte, who leads Chuck Morse 69–28% with 16% of the vote in. (Incumbent GOP Gov. Chris Sununu is retiring.)
