- have transparent support conditions
- increase sector´s visibility in the legislation

#Aquaculture has added value for rural development, biodiversity & environment 🐟
It is essential to:
- finance aquaculture both from #CFP & free part of #NRPP
- clearly define conditions to support aquaculture
- ensure coherence between NRPP & future CFP support
A separate kettle of fish is the new 10% Rural earmark in #NRPP.
• If it is to replace what EAFRD does, it is too little.
• If its only for rural beyond farming, it is way more than at present.
And still no earmarking for urban, while waiting for the Agenda for Cities proposal…. 2/2
As a follow-up to the letter to @vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu of @eppgroup.bsky.social, @reneweurope.bsky.social, @socialistsanddemocrats.eu & @greens-efa.eu on the #NRPP, we have send concrete proposals of Renew to Raffaele Fitto to ensure strong role of #regions & #cities in the next MFF. Cont.
#EUBudget: What atypique alliance in the EP to reject the #NRPP of @vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu's MFF proposals. Each group for a different reason - so how could their conditionalities be fulfilled (without just increasing the budget size), it's unrealistic. And yes, dedicated #Money4Nature is needed!

The next #NRPP is a big step to reduce gaps, silos and overlaps…assuming that in each Member States things work out the way EU Regulations are expected to work, particularly at regional and local levels.
