A view of the satellite and radar over the Northland at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025, shows mostly cloudy skies over the region. Some showers are trying to reach the ground in the far southern counties in our area. More precipitation, all rain, is moving in from the south in an east/northeast path.

Temperatures in the Northland just after 3 p.m. on April 24, 2025, range from 46 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit.

When compared to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, temperatures in the Northland at this same time Thursday are cooler for most locations by as much as 21 degrees Fahrenheit. A few spots in Itasca and Koochiching counties are warmer by a few degrees.

Wind speeds in the Northland just after 3 p.m. on April 24, 2025, range from calm to 13 mph. Wind direction is primarily from the north, with a lake breeze for communities next to Lake Superior.
