( #NWSQuadCities): A level 3 of 5 (ENHANCED) risk for severe storms for this afternoon/evening. The primary severe risks look to be damaging wind and isolated #tornadoes but large hail cannot be ruled out. Storms moving at highway speeds means there will be less time than normal to seek shelter.

( #NWSQuadCities): A Funnel Cloud was reported south of Aledo #ILwx near 3:40 PM this afternoon. It’s possible additional funnel clouds could develop before the threat diminishes around sunset. It's unlikely these will reach the ground. If you see a funnel cloud or tornado, seek shelter! #IAwx #ILwx
