DNA Origami Tension Sensors (DOTS) for Single-Molecule Force Measurements at Fluid Intermembrane Junctions A key event in triggering adaptive immunity is the binding of a T cell receptor (TCR) to its antigen at the T cell–target cell interface. Mechanical forces are critical for TCR–antigen interactions, w...

It's an awesome Monday for the Salaita lab! Our latest paper was just accepted to #ACS #NanoLetters. Huge congratulations to Sarah Al Abdullatif, Alexander K. Foote Yuesong Hu, and Jhordan Rogers for their incredible work and well-deserved recognition 🧠💪

🤩New cover for #NanoLetters! Brain-insired Engineering 🧠

We depicted liquid artificial #synapses which were engineered with copper-based #electrolytes. The liquid-medium, enabled to better emulate the ionic movements associated with learning in the brain, making this approach close to #biovoltages.

⚡️⚡️My new cover for #NanoLetters: GaN nanorods!⚡️⚡️

The cover and the article are devoted to an inverted #photovoltage mechanism in GaN. This was achieved through a reverse charge transfer, driven by an electrostatic field induced by surface strain.
