Last week colleagues from IOPP and the @instituteofphysics.bsky.social came together for the first DEI & Wellbeing conference in celebration of #NationalInclusionWeek.
With discussions, development sessions, and networking, it was the perfect opportunity to share ideas and learn from others 💭
This week is UK National Inclusion Week—a time to recognise the importance of inclusive practices and environments across all sectors. We acknowledge the value of belonging, respect and equity for all.

“Inclusion meant sensory cues at every gate, braille and large print timetables, tactile bunting, and lights to guide the way. Navigating was joyful, not frustrating. This is what true inclusion feels like.”

"Inclusion is about everyone, no matter who they are, where they come from or what they look like, being able to take part in life without having to worry about how they fit in. It's about making sure that everyone feels part of something and not singled out or put in a box."
