Its great to see a new greenway inc in this scheme (although unfortunately no visualisations were provided), connecting from Castle Stream to Tolka River.

Also great potential for future connections to the Tolka Valley Greenway, & a greenway alongside the proposed #NavanRail from Dunboyne to Navan.

Hey at least we have a commitment on funding for #NavanRail, right? Sort of. Its kinda mentioned in there, right?

No mention of the #NavanRail line in the government's new National Development Plan.

We're no experts, but its hard to say what the #NavanRail would cost, or if good value, until pre-design consultation is done. The route doesnt even exist in places anymore.

For example, at Dunsany, there is now a nature reserve where the line was. In Kilmessan, there's a housing estate, & a hotel.
