Happy #VeteransDay to my dad, a #NavyPilot on USS Midway. He had to blast through the canopy, into the sea, breaking his back, causing a lifetime of pain. He’s in the Navy record books for something about that incident, and I understand they do these emergency exits differently now, thank goodness.

Honestly, if it were me, I wouldn’t show this to my mom…definitely not!
