Prior #Náhuat #Nawat dictionaries were written by non Náhuat speakers and mixed various Náhuat dialects. This dictionary was written based on a single dialect #Witzapan to respect the integrity of the #language .

#Nawat or #Nahuat is also being revived in El Salvador, we have very few indigenous speakers left. Salvadorean Nahuat is a dialect of Central Mexico’s #Nahuatl . It’s spoken by the indigenous Pipil of Western El Salvador where my family has descended from for many generations.
