Our subject is presented in a jet black, velvet hooded cloak within a slightly out-of-focus background of very pale desert mountains. Her straight dark hair is flowing out and falling from the side of her pale, downturns & slightly smiling face. Her closed eyes are barely visible from underneath the shadow of her hooded head. A polarizing filter is used to create extremes of light & dark. The use of a very slight diffusion filter also lends to the softened contrast of a scene for a different type of portraiture. Only our subject is in focus. The lens is set with a wide aperture to soften the distance to the mountains behind her. (I forget the actual settings & shutter speed, however I was well-aware of the desired effects gotten.) It's a monochrome/grayscale composition/image. Enjoy.

#NearAndFar with 4 newbies (2 of which are kids). Unboxed/Set up/ Instructions started at 3. Actual gameplay started at 6. Scores were finally tallied at 11 (67,63,54,30 - I took 2nd). It wont take so long next time cuz we had fun. #TableTop #Gamenight
We still haven't tried the campaign in #NearAndFar but it's already great fun in adventure mode! Love Ryan Laukat's art too, it looks so vibrant and fantastic. Such a wonderful game.
