Irish-led Neuranics bags $8m for its 'human-machine interface' The start-up has developed ultra-sensitive and low-power sensors that detect tiny magnetic signals from the human body. 

The Glasgow-based start-up, led by Irishman and industry veteran Noel McKenna, is the first-ever joint spin-out from the University of Glasgow and the University of Edinburgh.
