On #ThisDayInHistory in 1922, #HowardCarter opened the tomb of #Tutankhamun of #Egypt's #NewKingdom. The pharaoh died in 1323 BCE, ~3245 years earlier, and was buried with his stillborn children. A minor ruler who died young, he restored the old gods following the #Amarna period.
