(사진=플레디스엔터테인먼트) 이번 시리즈의 콘셉트는 운동부다. 서울 팬미팅 포스터에서 멤버들은 축구, 농구, 태권도, 검도 등 서로 다른 스포츠 유니폼을 착용해 쾌활한 분위기를 드러냈고, 이에 힘입어 팬미팅 무대에서 운동부 선수로 변신한 멤버들의 유쾌한 티키타카와 팀워크가 어느 정도로 드러날지 관심이 쌓이고 있다. TWS는 최근 한국과 일본 음악 시장을 동시에 겨냥한 활동으로 성과를 쌓고 있다. 지난 9일 발매된 곡 ‘다시 만난 오늘’은 멜론 ‘톱100’에서 팀 최고 첫날 순위를 자체 경신했고, 이후에도 순위권을 유지하며 장기적인 반응을 이어가고 있다. ‘다시 만난 오늘’의 원곡인 일본 싱글 타이틀곡 ‘Nice to see you again(일본어 제목 はじめまして/하지메마시테)’도 현지에서 존재감을 보였다. 이 곡은 발매 당시 빌보드 재팬 종합 송 차트 ‘핫 100’ 1위에 오르며 일본 데뷔 싱글로는 눈에 띄는 성적을 기록했다. 한편 TWS는 일본에 앞서 서울에서 팬미팅 ‘42:CLUB’의 막을 올린다. 내달 27~29일 사흘간 서울 송파구 올림픽공원 티켓링크 라이브 아레나(옛 핸드볼경기장)에서 팬들과 먼저 만나는 자리다. 이번 팬미팅과 연결된 자체 콘텐츠도 마련된다. 오늘(24일) 오후 9시에는 팀 공식 유튜브 채널과 글로벌 슈퍼팬 플랫폼 위버스(Weverse)에 자체 예능 ‘TWS:CLUB’이 올라가며, TWS는 이 콘텐츠를 통해 팬들과 먼저 소통한 뒤 ‘42:CLUB’ 팬미팅을 이어간다.
