Women & early career scientists were affected by cuts.
The #NIH terminated 2,291 active grants & froze funding of 1,534 projects between February & August 2025.
57.9% of the terminated projects were led by women, 48.2% led by men.

Congress already told Trump to kick rocks and increased #biomedical #NIH research funding (not enough but certainly did not cut it).
The problem is the money is not flowing. At the #physiology Congressional briefing a researcher with a perfect score last summer still has not received money
