Taken with my Nikon CoolPixL100, saved as a DNG, enhanced the clarity a little bit and balanced out the blue light. ( It was overcast with tree cover, giving everything that blueish hue. )

It was hunting prey at the botanical gardens, when it crashed into bush behind it.

I almost squashed this “little bean”, along with this snapper.

We were hiking and she yelled “yo watch out that’s a turtle!”

Autofocus on my Canon got snagged up on the flower as the bee took off.

My Nikon got the bee in some pretty decent details.

The bees and bald-face hornets love these flowers. The hornets wouldn’t sit still for a picture. 😩

I love both of these photos though.
