I'm standing near the top of Islay Hill in San Luis Obispo. In the immediate foreground is the trail, dry brush and part of a weathered wooden fence. Beyond, there are some brown rolling hills, spotted with oak trees. Roads lead to the more populated area of San Luis Obispo. There are some tall brown and green mountains on the far right, and to the far left are a couple of volcanic plugs (part of the Nine Sisters). The one on the left is Cerro San Luis, and the one on the right is Bishop Peak. Islay Hill is the smallest of the Nine Sisters. The sky is blue and hazy with a lot of spotty and streaky clouds.
