first posted on google+in 2012: another super-rare golden goodie in the mixed bag: Anechoic Orchestral Music Recording (1988 Denon PG-6006 / 081759017105) - astonishing and somewhat spooky sounds from japanese digital pioneers, erm, denons ;-) a nice golden cd and a 40p booklet with all details in a sturdy box. no idea if this was widely distributed, i've only ever seen my own copy. i remember rescuing it from some bargain bin in berlin, 1990. a true collectors gem, in concept & design. back when cd's were interesting: " The beautiful resonance of a concert hall or church with superb acoustics is an indispensable element in the appreciation of music. When we listen to music, what we hear is an inseparable combination of the sound produced by musical instruments and the resonance of the hall.
