Project Peanut: The Return of the Montreal Expos? Twenty years ago, when the Expos left Montreal, I felt powerless. I was a young radio host (my side hustle) covering the team and doing everything I could to help keep MLB here, but the truth is I …

Meet Montrealer Ashkan Karbasfrooshan & his "Project Peanut": it's about bringing the Expos back to Montréal. There's also a multiple question survey at the end asking "If MLB ever returned to our city, would you support the team?" which anyone can access & complete.

Lots of 'collective blame' for the death of the Montreal Expos Three key figures from the team's past — Mark Routtenberg, David Samson and Stephen Bronfman — reflect on what went wrong behind the scenes.

"It’s the title of a recent Netflix documentary, but it’s also a question on the lips of many Montrealers — part of a debate that has been reignited since the film made its debut a few weeks ago."

The $500m slugger who is taking Canada to the World Series For the first time in 32 years, the Toronto Blue Jays are competing in the World Series, and they have Vladimir Guerrero Jr to thank.

The thin thread to my beloved Expos via Vladimir Guerrero Jr feels unbelievably precious. Let's go @torontobluejays.bsky.social! #NosAmours www.bbc.com/news/article...

Just watched the “Who Killed The Montreal Expos” documentary. Tough to relive the heartbreak of losing the team. What I wouldn’t give to have the team still here. #Nosamours

The Reasons Behind the Death of the Montreal Expos Still Resonate Today The creators of the new Netflix doc ‘Who Killed the Montreal Expos?’ talk about the cultural differences at the heart of their film.

For those who still have Netflix, Jean-François Poisson's 90-minute documentary "Who Killed the Montreal Expos" drops today. It's had good reviews locally amongst those who attended a special preview at the Festival du nouveau cinéma in Montreal earlier this month.

That dream feels long gone, but they were great times and I was so happy to have lived and died with that team in my teens and early twenties. #NosAmours

He lives in a hovel on the far side of Mount Royal. On summer nights, his plaintive cries of “Val-de-ree, Val-de-rahhh” permeate the skies of Outremont and Côte-des-Neiges and can be heard as far away as Dorion and Repentigny. #NosAmours

Pete Rose made history, left lasting mark during brief stint with Expos | CBC Sports The late Pete Rose wasn't with the Expos for long, but his brief presence provided Montreal fans with a historic moment. One of his 72 hits in the 1984 season was No. 4,000, making him just the second player to reach the milestone alongside Ty Cobb.

Pete Rose's heart was probably always with the Reds but he was briefly one of my beloved #expos and I remember how thrilling it was to have such a legend playing on Canadian soil. RIP Pete. #NosAmours www.cbc.ca/sports/baseb...

L'histoire des Expos fut effectivement une saga qui est très bien racontée en témoignages et en images dans ce film. J'ai souris à plusieurs reprises mais j'avais les yeux humides à la fin. À voir en salle le 3 mai prochain.
