Shelly, a European Legless lizard, or sheltopusik, stretches out on one of her branches in her enclosure. Legless lizards tend to prefer being on the ground or burrowing as opposed to climbing, so this behavior is a bit unusual for her. Since he coloring is similar to the branch, it does make her look like she could be an extension of the wood.
Shelly fancies herself to be a stick, apparently.

I'm not 100% certain, but I believe this is a Burton's legless lizard, that I encountered on a hike. I'm always keen to see snakes on my walks, I guess this was a good substitute.
