Enjoying the wintry conditions as of late. A flock of 20 crossbill relying on the water trough at Clumber Park for the past couple days. Also the wolf moon was particularly special.

Great visit to Carr Road, Gringley and looking over the River Idle to Misson Springs this afternoon - 40 species. Highlights - hundreds of Fieldfares, Whoopers, Pink-footed Geese, 7 Cattle Egret, Great-white Egret, Barn Owl and this Raven checking me out #ukbirding #nottsbirders

Very autumnal on the Clumber/thoresby border this morning. c20 crossbill, 11 brambling and a marsh harrier drifting lazily just over the woodland.

Not as many Whoopers at Gringley Carr today as last week. These were across the River Idle at Misson East last Saturday. This area was also full of Golden Plover, Lapwing, Dunlin, BH Gulls and a few Ruff. #ukbirding #nottsbirders
