“We’re implementing a new rule in the Citadel,” Noctis says firmly, before Ignis is even fully in the room. Calmly as ever, Ignis waits unblinking for Noctis to carry on his tirade. “Everyone,” Noctis says, carefully sounding out each syllable. “Has to keep all their clothes on, all the time. No exceptions.” Ignis frowns and after a moment turns to Gladio. “What did you do to upset him?” “Nah, he pissed in his own cereal with this one,” Gladio mumbles. “You shut up,” Noctis snaps, pointing at him. “He’s got his undies in a twist because—” Noctis launches himself at Gladio but with an embarrassing lack of effort he’s tossed back onto the training mats. Noctis doesn’t bother getting up, just gazes up at the too ornate ceiling awaiting his own demise. “He got caught staring at Nyx again,” Gladio explains. Ignis sighs. Noctis imagines him pushing his glasses up his nose.
