NEWGOG is back on Saturday 11th April at the Lysaght Institute, Newport. One of the best O Gauge shows in the country with layouts, trade support, and a Bring & Buy. Well worth a visit 🌳

Have and Have Not ~
Playing with #color & #composition, reducing very recognizable images to states of #abstraction, when I finally took note of the #yin/yang message these little trucks were trying to send me.

Crazy making?
Hand drawing about 1000 rocks on this lime kiln and then painting each individually?
Well, yeah, a little.
But a lot more beneficial to the brain than watching the Big Orange Bastard.

Port Arend, 1959
A couple of weeks behind, but I'm happy to once again, legitimately, call the White Cliff Lime Plant a work in progress.

Sorry I haven't been posting much.
Winter has been a pain, on top of work and other projects.
Haven't posted about trains, so here's a 3rd Rail Baltimore & Ohio 2-10-2 "Big Six" circa 2004 I acquired in December.
I love me a good ten-coupled steam locomotive.

More track laying/planning today. Changed my mind on a short siding, thought it was a waste of space and a waste of a £70 set of points.

Doesn’t seem like I have a lot to show for three hours of track laying, but fitting streamline points together is a very fiddly job. Especially in O scale as any errors are more obvious.

It is less than 60 days until International Gauge 0 and Gauge 1 Days in Gießen, Germany. I have wanted to go to this exhibition ever since I switched to O scale, and this year, touch wood, I will be there!
