Mom’s optometrist referred her to this private clinic — I assume there were kick-backs for the referral but no proof.

They then told her that their lenses were superior to the #OHIP covered ones - they obviously convinced her that she needed the upgraded lenses. 🤦🏻‍♀️

My mom’s (a senior) Dr sent her to a clinic for care - she gave her #OHIP card & had an initial consultation.
Was told that actual TREATMENT was out of pocket payment.
She walked out — not affordable for her.
I told her to go back to Dr. to request #PublicHealthcare
