That is a great use of ojs.
I think #observableframework is a better tag than #observable, because the shorter tag attracts posts that aren’t about Observable Framework.
I'm enjoying #observableframework for lots of reasons - I can still use #rstats to do the data loading, and create dashboards that would normally need a #shiny server but are instead totally serverless! It is also lightning quick to react to user inputs ⚡
An #introduction 👋
I'm an environmental data analyst and R package developer, with a specialism in #airquality. Interested in #rstats, #quartopub, #shiny and, increasingly, #observable and #observableframework.
You can see a lot of my stuff on GitHub: github.com/jack-davison
three small charts up top showing various volumes segment bar chart at the bottom
Gosh #ObserablePlot + #ObservableFramework makes things fun again.
Being able to do this in YAML:
---
sql:
tags: 2024-03-16-analytics.parquet
meta: metadata.json
ips: 2024-03-16-analytics-ips.parquet
---
and then just use sql`` tag functions inline w/modern DuckDB SQL syntax is just amazing.
I played around with @observablehq 's #ObservableFramework and #ObservablePlot over the weekend. Great site generator and the capabilities of the plots amazed me.
🎥 Check out what I came up with: youtu.be/mg8pNBnMOcI
📣 #Observable 2.0 aggiunge un framework open source per realizzare siti statici con #dataviz e analisi dati che sarà possibile utilizzare anche on premises.
Notevole!
