4 surgeons gowned in blue, operating vaginally to repair a vesicovaginal fistula, a hole between the bladder and vagina resulting in endless leakage of urine, caused by unrelieved obstructed labor due to inability to access an emergency c/section. In over 90% cases, the baby has died. it is estimated almost 1 million live w obstetric fistula and 50k new cases occur annually. surgery is the treatment in almost every case.
