#Oddsock would like you to know this Xmas that councils in England & Wales are now admitting they can’t meet legal duties on social care, children’s services, SEND or safeguarding because funding has collapsed even ombudsman cases show they delay or deny essential care due to lack of resources. ⬇️

#Oddsock Today would like everyone in the UK to know whilst deaf children get access to sign language through LAs. We don't universally give sign language training to PARENTS and often they pay out of pocket to communicate with kids.

#Oddsock would like you to know according to the #NHS itself #autism isn't overdiagnosed at all.

In fact it's remained stable at 1 in 100.... and actually we have a significant underdiagnosis for women & older adults, with over 90% of autistic people aged 50 years being undiagnosed. ⬇️
