#OdometerGate reminds me why I won't ever play modern slot machines. The old machines (one arm bandits) had physical reels and they would eventually pay out a jackpot based on real probability. Software "reels" can be programmed to never pay out. Similar fuckery is achieved with Tesla's odometers.
