#AmericasTeam may oddly UNITE both #OldSchoolFans & HATERS in being "irritated" at ANY currently-active #DallasCowboys players who ENJOY the #BuiltIn #LegacyBenefits of being a Cowboy, of even UNINTENTIONALLY riding the coattails of those who CAME, SAW, and WON BIG before them.
#OldSchoolFans do not necessarily include those fans w/ more heroic, #BeyondSports EXPECTATIONS OF pro sports players, who might otherwise use their HIGH-PROFILE platforms (that #MuhammadAli WISHED he had) to spread supportive SOCIETAL sayings or even, um, powerful "POLITICAL prayers."
#OldSchoolFans do not want to see the #Normalization of, really, ANY players (again, across ALL pro sports leagues) spending postgame activities being #ProfessionallySlick or ODDLY HAPPY . . . following a game or season that made the #EmotionallyInvested fans SICK and left them feeling CRAPPY.
#OldSchoolFans want to see their FAVORITE players (and ALL players on their FAVORITE teams) antisocially suffer (damn the league fines) like THEY do through the entire period between a lousy last contest and the next one (for which they pray they will have little reason to protest).
#OldSchoolFans might even be watching "someone's" podcast and thinking "The #OldSchoolStars we LOVED would have NEVER left the stadium after X bad loss, ONLY to happily hop online later - with a Cheshire Cat grin - and make it ABUNDANTLY CLEAR that #BrandBuilding is THE boss."
#OldSchoolFans (in a similarly-sensitive vein as players having #FairMarketValue vs #MeritBasedValue, no matter the GREEDY team owners) do not want to see players COMPARTMENTALIZING 2 separate lives rather than allowing THE PAIN of football flubs to consume them until corrected.
#OldSchoolFans - who, again, are being triggered the loudest - want the #OldSchoolMentality that underpins the #LoveOfTheGame that so many of the BIGGEST, BEST pro sports STARS (across ALL leagues) profess to pursue but increasingly demonstrate the obligatory, err, nothing new.
#OldSchoolFans - watching an at-one-point-injured pro sports STAR happily-yet-unremarkably (?) opining on his podcast while his 2024 team is stinkin' it up - just MAY believe he should quiet up, unless he is educationally dissecting how he and the #DallasCowboys can clear it up.
