Believe it or not, I actually drew him before even watching the movie. A friend said he was a little fond of Once Upon a Forest, but I'd never heard of it, so I looked it up on YouTube. One of the videos I stumbled upon showed Waggs for a second or two, and that's when he caught my eye. I liked his design, and because I couldn't find any fan art of him, I figured... what the heck, I'll make some! It wasn't until later that I learned that Waggs is... not a friendly character, and he apparently hates anyone who's not a squirrel. He also gets no redeemable qualities, whatsoever, so no doubt he has no fans or anything who truly *likes* him. Of all the characters to draw from the movie, I had to pick the worst one. lol
Alright, now for a 2013 drawing. I doubt any of you will recognize this dude.
His name is Waggs, and he's a squirrel from 1993's "Once Upon a Forest". Not a friendly fella, as I recall. Once again, I drew him simply because I liked his design. 😅
