Wow I'd never thought about a #OneShipStudy - what a great idea!
#OneShipStudy
Barque “Isabel” One-Place Study. A ‘One-Ship Study’. Image: Wooden masts, rigging, and furled sails on a sailing vessel - a generic image for ship studies where no image of the vessel is available for us to use. www.one-place-studies.org/studies/ One-Place Studies, where family history and local history unite.
We have another ‘One-Ship Study’! Marg McIntyre is researching the Barque “Isabel”🔗, built in 1854 at Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, #Canada, and commanded by her 2x great grandfather Alexander Hector McDonald. The study ends in early 1862 when the Isabel was lost at sea. #OnePlaceWednesday
Have you watched @mghistorical.com’s talk about her #OneShipStudy? It’s fascinating! Looking forward to hearing more about your project #GenHour
